Colorado Emergency Tree Services

24/7 Emergency Tree Removal & Storm Damage Support

Tree emergencies rarely happen at convenient times. Heavy snow, high winds, saturated soil, and sudden storms can turn even healthy trees into serious hazards without warning. When a tree or large limb is threatening your home, blocking access, or creating an immediate safety risk, fast and experienced help matters.

Good People Tree Service provides 24/7 emergency tree services throughout Colorado, with same-day response available in many situations. Our experienced crews are equipped to handle dangerous, time-sensitive tree work safely and efficiently, even in challenging weather and terrain.

When to Call for Emergency Tree Service

A tree situation should be treated as an emergency when there is immediate risk to people, property, or access. Call us right away if a tree or limb is:

  • On or leaning toward a home, garage, or structure
  • Blocking a driveway, road, or critical access
  • Hanging, partially broken, or unstable
  • Touching or threatening power lines
  • Cracked, split, or suddenly leaning after a storm

If something doesn’t look right, it’s better to have it assessed than wait for failure.

Common Emergency Tree Situations We Handle

Storm & Wind Damage

High winds and fast-moving storms can cause sudden limb failure or uprooted trees, even in healthy landscapes.

Snow & Ice Damage

Heavy, wet snow places extreme weight on branches and trunks, leading to splits, hanging limbs, and delayed failures as snow melts.

Uprooted or Leaning Trees

Saturated soil from rain or snowmelt can destabilize root systems, causing trees to lean or tip unexpectedly.

Trees Near Power Lines

Any tree contacting power lines is a serious hazard and should only be handled by professionals.

What to Do While You Wait

  • Keep people, pets, and vehicles away from the area
  • Avoid cutting or moving debris yourself
  • Do not approach trees near power lines
  • Contact your utility provider if lines are involved

Tree damage can worsen quickly as conditions change.

Testimonials
We cannot thank Good People enough for coming to our rescue on such short notice. If it weren’t for them, either our house or our neighbor’s house would have a tree in it right now and a huge mess on our hands. We are eternally grateful and cannot recommend Good People enough. Good People are your go-to for emergency and all tree removal services! Thank you!!- These guys are outstanding. Gave a reasonable quote, arrived when they said they would, removed several huge trees that were very close to the house, and cleaned everything up before leaving. Can’t offer a stronger or more positive recommendation

Good People Tree Service is INCREDIBLE! They saved our house and our neighbors from an impending disaster. With the extremely strong, persistent winds in Boulder last Sunday, we noticed that our 70+ ft blue spruce tree’s roots were uplifting with every gust, causing the steel edging and mulch to lift. Each gust made us fear the tree would blow over onto ours or our neighbor’s house – it was one of the most stressful things to watch. We called Good People Tree Service on Sunday at 4 PM, and Eric showed up within 30 minutes to evaluate the situation. Eric quickly recognized the imminent danger and assembled a top-tier team on a SUNDAY NIGHT for this emergency. Despite our house being in close proximity to our neighbors, they managed to set up carefully and extract the tree in 40+ MPH winds – it was like watching a Coast Guard rescue! We were amazed at how professional, efficient, and careful the Good People team was, safely removing the tree in high wind conditions while protecting both our property and our neighbor’s property. Everyone involved, from the boom operator to the chippers, worked incredibly efficiently (in the dark), making the operation smooth and impressive to watch.
